Ownership Experience

Five seasons behind the wheel of a Mazdaspeed3. The MZR engine earned the title of worst engine on the market, and yet, I had nothing but fun with it without any issues!

Probably one of the most engaging models I've had the chance to drive. Torque steer is not a myth; it will surprise you on your first pull.

During my fourth year of ownership, I started thinking about moving on. Not because I didn't love it or that it lacked potential, but for a long time, I had another model in mind. I began collecting parts to take it to the next level ( full bolt-on ). My priority was taking the necessary steps to safely increase its power. By the fifth season, I knew deep down I was going to make the decision to replace it.

If you manage to find one in good condition, modified properly, you will have an immense amount of fun! It's a car I highly recommend if you're ready to invest a lot of money and love into it. A good tune will likely be needed, but that’s what will ensure you get the most out of it and have the best ownership experience.

Keep in mind that this is a car model that's between 10 and 15 years old. Despite the years, I can guarantee it's still relevant in terms of performance within its category.
